As the UX Designer at Impulse Creative, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the digital experiences for our clients, driving innovation, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality design solutions from concept to launch. Your day to day responsibilities will include ideation, presentation, UX/UI ownership, strategic contribution, project management, and user-centric approaches. You are devoted to the Creative Cloud and proficient in Adobe Xd, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and Canva. The UX Designer is a team player who enjoys collaborating cross-functionally with designers, developers, project managers, content specialists, marketers and strategists to deliver excellent service to our clients.


Description

Responsibilities

  • Ideation and Presentation:
  • Prepare and present ideas internally and externally.
  • Support work in client meetings, presentations, and conversations.
  • UX/UI Ownership:
  • Own the UX/UI for client projects from concept to launch.
  • Ensure the design aligns with the user journey and client’s business needs.
  • Strategic Contribution:
  • Contribute to the development of project requirements and strategy.
  • Apply big-picture thinking, problem-solving, and a solution-oriented approach to all projects.
  • Project Management:
  • Effectively manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
  • Lead design and functionality in web design and product customization projects and discoveries.
  • User-Centric Approach:
  • Understand the user journey and client’s business needs.
  • Create an experience that aligns with both user goals and business objectives.
  • Flawless Design Execution:
  • Execute projects with impeccable attention to detail and a focus on first-time quality.
  • Strategically incorporate creative functionality into flawless designs.
  • Web Design and Product Customization:
  • Lead design and functionality aspects in web design and product customization projects.
  • Drive innovative solutions to enhance user experience and meet project goals.
  • Wireframing and Prototyping:
  • Create wireframes, HiFi comps, prototypes, user stories, and sitemaps for website projects.
  • Ensure a comprehensive and user-friendly design approach.
  • Quality Control:
  • Conduct thorough and detailed Quality Control (QC) on all design aspects.
  • Ensure all deliverables meet high-quality standards before client delivery.
  • Brand Material Development:
  • Develop brand materials, including logos, brand guides, ebooks, social media graphics, and more.
  • Ensure consistency and alignment with client branding strategies.

Qualifications 

  • 1+ years of HubSpot experience preferred
  • 1+ years of agency experience required
  • 1+ years of client-facing communication experience
  • 2+ years of design experience in a business setting, particularly in UX design 
  • Expert in the Adobe Suite, Figma, and Canva 
  • Familiar with the G Suite including Google calendar, docs, and sheets
  • Experience tracking time and managing tasks in project management systems, preferably ClickUp
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
  • Manage multiple clients/projects simultaneously in a remote, fast-paced agency environment
  • Well-versed in UX best practices, industry trends, and ADA compliance
  • Impeccable attention to detail 
  • Be able to prepare and present ideas internally and externally, lead client meetings, and support your designs in presentations, videos, and conversation
  • Contribute to design and functionality in web design projects and discoveries
