Huemor is searching for a talented UI/UX Designer to join our team. As part of our build team, you will assist us with the strategy, planning, and visual design for landing page offers. Our ideal candidate is a talented user interface designer but understands how user behavior must shape front-end experiences. You design interfaces that could be award-winning, but not for the sake of winning awards. Rather, your design is intentional and focused on what is best for the end-user interacting with the platform.
Salary Range
$1,500 - 3,000 USD/month
Responsibilities
- Conceive, design, and present visual designs that deliver the highest quality user experience in terms of innovation, simplicity, and consistency
- Collaborate closely with Project Management and Creative Director, and clients to help define detailed product requirements as prototypes, descriptions, and detailed wireframes
- Communicate and present the designs and design ideas to stakeholders and developers as visualizations in a clear, well-documented form
- Further, develop the designs and design materials in sufficient detail that they can be expressed as clear features suitable for implementation by software development teams
- Work with developers to ensure the designs are implemented as intended and the integrity of the user experience is maintained in the final product
- Continually incorporate feedback to improve the UI/X experience
Requirements
- You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a field directly related to visual design.
- 3+ years of professional experience creating interfaces for websites or applications
- Strong proficiency in Figma or Sketch (Figma Preferred)
- Experience with prototyping tools such as InVision, Figma, or Zeplin
- Experience performing user research and testing
- Experience creating style and/or component guides
Bonus Points
- You’ve worked with WordPress or a similar CMS
- You have some basic HTML/CSS skills
- You’ve interned/worked for an agency before
- You’ve freelanced
- You have some experience with motion design
