Purpose of Role
As the Technical Product Owner, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our language access services application, Martti. We are looking for an individual with a strong technical background to guide the development of our platform, ensuring the flow of features, critical updates, and customer communications are delivered on schedule. While experience in Language Access Services is not mandatory, you will work closely with a team of experts in the field.
Core Responsibilities:
- Product Vision: Collaborate with stakeholders and leadership to define and prioritize the product roadmap, aligning it with the company’s strategic objectives.
- Requirements Gathering: Collect, analyze, and document detailed requirements from various stakeholders, including customers, end-users, and internal teams.
- Feature Prioritization: Make informed decisions on feature prioritization and trade-offs based on user needs, technical constraints, and business impact.
- Product Development: Serve as a bridge between technical and non-technical teams, translating business requirements into technical specifications for the development team.
- Sprint Planning: Work closely with development teams to plan and execute Agile development sprints, ensuring that features and critical updates are delivered on time.
- Quality Assurance: Collaborate with QA teams to define testing criteria and ensure that product releases meet high-quality standards.
- User Experience: Advocate for an exceptional user experience, considering usability and accessibility throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies, providing insights and recommendations for innovation.
- Communication: Maintain open and clear communication channels with all stakeholders and keep them informed of progress, changes, and potential roadblocks.
Professional Experience, Essential Skills, and Knowledge
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field (Computer Science, Engineering, etc.).
- Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role, preferably in a Healthcare technology-driven environment.
- Strong technical background, with a deep understanding of software development processes and principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Nice to have, but not required
- A passion for learning and staying current with industry trends and technologies.
- Language Access Services experience is a plus but not required.
- SAFe Agile Certification such as SSM, POPM, or CSM with CSPO is highly desired.
