As a Sr. SEO Specialist, you are expected to maintain a high level of knowledge of your client’s line of business and the latest developments in Organic Search. You organize and manage workflow; coordinate with the team to develop strategies, manage accounts, project plans, performance reporting and analysis. You will serve as an SEO expert determining and executing an SEO strategy following data analysis and best practices for excellent organic search performance.

Responsibilities:
- Identify opportunities and develop strategies to improve organic performance by using strong analytical, technical, research, and content marketing skills
- Collaborate with digital media planners, web developers and creatives to apply SEO best practices to client digital properties
- Serve as the subject matter expert for assigned accounts, collaborating with clients and providing recommendations aligned with SEO goals
- Lead accounts and client meetings independently including creating, presenting, and managing the SEO strategy
- Manage day-to-day tactical operations including, but not limited to: competitive analysis, keyword research, content optimization, technical SEO, content marketing and data analysis
- Manage and execute local search initiatives
- Optimize on-site content for maximum organic performance; this includes HTML, image optimization, site structure, and metadata, as well as page layout and navigation considerations
- Perform keyword research in coordination with client business objectives to optimize existing content and uncover new opportunities
- Monitor weekly and monthly Organic performance reports, sharing actionable insights
- Dive into website issues as they occur, perform ad hoc analyses as needed, and help drive issues to resolution
- Keep up-to-date with latest industry and SEO trends, algorithm updates, SERP landscape changes, and content optimization best practices
- Additional job responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications, Skills, and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field
- 3+ years of experience in SEO
- Proven work experience managing accounts
- Extensive understanding of SEO principles, best practices, and industry trends
- SEO experience working with e-commerce websites and analytics platforms
- Analytically inclined, able to analyze data & contribute actionable insights
- Working knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, robots.txt, XML sitemaps, and Schema
- Experience with Google Analytics and Search Console
- Experience with SEO tools (including but not limited to: SEMRush, Ahrefs, ScreamingFrog, DeepCrawl, etc.)
- Experience with local search listings and tools (including but not limited to Yext, dbaPlatform, Moz Local, etc.)
- Proactive, positive, self-starter attitude
- Excellent written communication and verbal presentation skills
- Strategic thinking with the ability to come up with new, creative solutions
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Able to manage workflow effectively and meet time sensitive deadlines
- Strong SEO copywriting and research skills
- Must be effective working independently and contributing in a team environment
Salary: $70,000-$75,000
