Anywhere Workspace Solutions Product Marketing Manager 

The VMware End-User Computing (EUC) BU is a leader in mobile, device, desktop & virtual desktop management, serves as the center of VMware’s Anywhere Workspace Vision. The EUC team is looking for a dynamic solutions content marketer to work across sales, corporate marketing and product management teams delivering on VMware’s Anywhere Workspace vision, creating compelling content and driving outstanding results. EUC is a fast-paced environment, and we are seeking someone with experience in building, marketing or selling Software/SaaS products or solutions who can be innovative, creative, and make amazing things happen.

Empowering today’s hybrid workforces is a top priority for the company and this role has lots of room to grow - personally and professionally.  As a Solutions Marketing Manager, you will play a significant role in helping shape keynote content and overarching narratives for our business unit, by bringing your expertise in content strategy, storytelling and audience engagement.


Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing? 

  • The primary responsibilities in this role will be to drive the solution messaging, campaign content and enablement for Anywhere Workspace
  • You will work closely with fellow Product Marketing, Product Managers, Sales, PR/Comms, Digital and Corporate Marketing teams to lead the creation of the GTM plan, as well as create and build a cohesive message for your products and influence the broader messaging for the business unit. 
  • Being an extraordinary communicator and collaborator will be the essential ingredients to succeed in a team that works effectively across multiple Business Units to drive results consistently. 
  • 30 days - Become competent and have a solid understanding across all core use cases of Anywhere Workspace. Complete all necessary onboarding-related training. Know the team. 
  • 60 days - be the primary Solutions PMM and outbound campaign contact for Anywhere Workspace and own content generation, success of prioritized SEO keywords and GTM plans for this priority use case. 
  • 90 days – Take lead of the GTM plan, review messaging for your solution and contribute to specific Anywhere Workspace related projects (i.e. thought leadership research, vertical content marketing and support of our key marketing moments)
  • 6 months - Drive content for critical campaign and event needs, including vertical requests. Establish thought leadership narrative and shape our POV/messaging for key ‘marketing moments’ for EUC.  Be the SME and influence messaging at a campaigns level, and creation of successful sales motions.  


The Work: What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis? 

  • Develop messaging strategy and narrative for our key marketing moments. Good written skills is a must.
  • Lead the creation of a GTM plan. 
  • Develop compelling solution messaging that resonates with the EUC target audience, including their pain points, buying triggers, and purchase process. 
  • Work collaboratively with our PR team, and create key messages to leverage for key events, and build awareness for our Anywhere Workspace solution.
  • Drive comprehensive market research using both primary/secondary data to support thought leadership campaigns, positioning, and business value decisions. 
  • Influence go-to-market strategy to successfully launch new solutions and lead the successful execution of this plan across functional teams. 
  • Identify and support high-value industry events to accelerate industry-specific growth for EUC. 
  • Be able to quickly embrace new opportunities and prioritize time effectively.

The hiring manager for this role is Teresa Chen, who is the Director of Solutions Product Marketing for Anywhere Workspace. Teresa brings deep industry, marketing, and product knowledge, and is passionate about ensuring not only team success, but also individual success, while cultivating a fun and engaging experience.  


Where is this role located?  

Flexible: While preference will be for candidates willing to work out of Palo Alto, this role is flexible for candidates within the United States. It is expected that employees in this role be available to travel up to 15% of the time.

For US based candidates, the annual pay range (OTE for commissioned roles; Salary for other roles) for this position is: $78,000 - $177,000. The actual offer will be based on the role, location, and individual candidate experience. Bonus, commission, and/or equity may be eligible for this position. EUC, a division of Broadcom, offers comprehensive benefits including, but not limited to: medical, dental, and vision plans, company paid holidays, paid sick leave, and vacation time.
