Remynt is a very early-stage fintech startup seeking a Social Media and Community Manager responsible for managing our social media platforms and building and engaging our first customers in our community on Discord. The ideal candidate will be a skilled communicator passionate about social media, community building, and content creation. You MUST love people. As the Social Media and Community Manager, you will work closely with Marketing to create and execute strategies that drive growth and engagement across our social media platforms and community. This position will be offered equity in the company.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement social media strategies and analytics that drive customer engagement.
  • Developing a community for Remynt through creating programming and content on our Discord, and leading engagement on the platform.
  • Generating engagement among current users through discussions
  • Connecting new users with resources to help them get involved in the community
  • Responding to user questions and helping to troubleshoot issues
  • Looking for ways to improve the user experience by gathering community feedback
  • Coordinating bi-monthly live conversations.
  • Working with marketing and customer success to understand consumer needs or pain points.
  • Acting as the brand’s voice through managing and growing our social media presence across platforms, including YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, and Snap.
  • Create, schedule, and publish engaging content regularly to drive audience engagement and growth.
  • Delivering news, including the release of products, services, and features.
  • Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries on social media in a timely, professional, and helpful manner.
  • Monitor and analyze social media metrics and adjust strategies to achieve key performance indicators.
  • Build and execute a plan to grow and engage our online community, including customer groups, user-generated content campaigns, and other tactics.
  • Collaborate to develop and execute campaigns that leverage social media channels to drive traffic, leads, and conversions.
  • Stay current with the latest trends and best social media and online community management practices.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in social media marketing and community management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated success in growing social media followings and driving engagement.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience working with social media metrics.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience working with social media management tools like Hootsuite, Hubspot, Sprout Social, or similar platforms.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Passion for financial literacy, startups, and social media trends.


Salary

$65,000 - $75,000 per year
