Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Front-End ReactJS/NextJS Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to take our two-sided platform from its current stage to handle our scale, working with the latest technologies and seeing the direct impact of your development efforts on our revenue. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-performance, scalable web and native applications using ReactJS and NextJS (or experience with similar frameworks such as VueJS/NuxtJS).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and back-end developers, to deliver high-quality products.
• Implement responsive designs and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following coding best practices and industry standards.
• Conduct regular code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members to maintain code quality and encourage continuous improvement.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues, ensuring a seamless user experience.
• Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a collaborative and inclusive team environment.
• Actively participate in agile development processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an equivalent intense, multi-month boot camp program.
• 5+ years of professional experience in front-end development, with a strong focus on ReactJS and NextJS (or similar frameworks such as Vue/Next).
• Proven experience in building and deploying web applications.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, TypeScript, and modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js).
• Experience with state management libraries such as Redux or MobX.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming.
• Strong understanding of version control systems, preferably Git and GitHub workflows.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage time effectively.
• Good eye for UI and ability to implement pixel-perfect designs provided by a UX/UI designer

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with TypeScript and modern front-end build pipelines and tools.
• Knowledge of performance and unit testing frameworks such as Jest.
• Understanding CI/CD pipelines and experience with tools like Jenkins, Travis CI, or Git Actions.
• Previous experience in the EHS or related industries is an advantage.
• Familiarity with mobile development frameworks such as React Native.
• Understanding of containerization (e.g., Docker).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
