At our agency, a Senior Digital Designer is responsible for creating visually-appealing and highly-impactful designs for our clients in the software and tech industry. The ideal candidate will have a passion for digital, website and video projects, being equal parts creative and attentive to details.
Description
A day-in-the-life of a Senior Digital Designer will include:
- Wireframing and designing websites/landing pages in Figma according to UI/UX, SEO and accessibility best practices
- Designing digital and printed marketing materials, like white papers, display ads, sell sheets, PowerPoint decks, social media posts, email graphics, trade show displays and more
- Combining video footage, light animations and bumpers in Adobe Premiere to create simple YouTube videos
- Establishing visual brands for companies and campaigns via mood boards, image libraries, logo design and brand standards
- Meeting with clients to discuss technical project specifications
- Presenting work to co-workers and clients via email and on video calls
- Acting as a creative consultant, proactively suggesting better ways to achieve the end goal vs. simply taking orders
- Communicating with an account manager about deadlines and project updates to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
This job would be an awesome fit if you have:
- 5+ years’ experience as a graphic designer, preferably in an agency setting
- Expert-level knowledge of Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud programs (specifically InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Basic video/animation experience in Adobe Premiere
- A firm grasp on UI/UX, SEO and accessibility as they relate to website design (but no coding required!)
- An obsession with file set up best practices and extreme attention to detail
- The confidence to present ideas and make recommendations in front of clients
- The ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment, juggling multiple projects during any given day
