Senior Copywriter

Apply Now!

Please mention that you found this position on Remotedom, it helps us grow.

The NewRich Network is looking for a super awesome direct to the point copywriter to join our team of people who love all things marketing.

This role will sit on the Marketing team and work closely with Marketing, CRM, Product and Design, with constant counsel and consistent collaboration with our CTO and CMO.

Who are we looking for?.

Someone to take over my job – literally. More specifically, we’re looking for YOU if you meet the following criteria:

You are a conceptual and creative thinker.

You look at every brief as an opportunity to connect with the consumer. You are a self-starter but collaborative to the core.

You love honing your craft of communicating sophisticated ideas in 25 characters or less.

You can shift from punchy headlines to complex product launches with ease.

You think and write consumer-first, and have a deep understanding of your audience’s point of view.

You can write copy that is easy enough for a 4th grader to understand and still get your point across crystal clear.

You are passionate about grammar and cannot let a misspelled word or a misplaced apostrophe go unedited.

You don’t need experience in direct response or information marketing - however E-commerce and direct response experience is a plus.

So, what’s the job?

We’re looking for an experienced candidate to step in and begin helping write campaigns for premium portfolio products that often sell for anywhere from $50 one time to $2500 annually.

A specific campaign can include:

  • Creating presentations that often last an hour and detail the benefits of new solutions.
  • Writing order pages that tell a compelling story and generally run ~5,000 to ~8,000 words in length.
  • Creating dozens of e-mails that engage and excite across weeks of time.
  • Helping devise new strategies and tactics that the team hasn’t implemented across our campaigns.

Simply put, we’re looking for candidates who want a challenge.

Any new hire will have the opportunity to immediately begin working on projects that could be the top highlight in a copywriter’s portfolio of work.

Now, you might be asking yourself, “what’s the downside?”

And, that’s a good question to ask, because… This job isn’t for everyone, and we wouldn’t want anyone who isn’t bat-tits crazy about this opportunity to apply.

So, allow me to briefly tell you what this job is not.

  • This is not a royalty job. We pay employees a salary and as your career progresses -NewRich Network offers additional opportunities such as equity compensation. However, as we want our copywriters to be part of a team where ideas are shared and can be improved upon, we do not currently offer a royalty structure.
  • This is a job where prior experience is necessary and financial knowledge is a definite. If you don’t have a certain comfort level writing about personal development and business opportunities, it may be difficult to create effective marketing angles and create the engaging events this job requires.

  • This is not a “lone wolf” position.  Once again, this is a job where you’ll not only be part of a team responsible for selling our “premium e-commerce, and e-learning” products, but a marketing department with dozens of employees in a fast-growing company. While our ideal candidate will be a terrific copywriter, we’re also looking for someone who embraces thinking strategically about NewRich Network (‘s) broader business as well.

What You’ll Do:

  • Craft compelling and concise copy across channels with a strong focus on direct response and direct-to-consumer copy.
  • Ensure brand voice is consistent and strong across every user touchpoint and act as topline copy editor for a team of writers across all of our brands (NewRich Network, Wicked Apps and NutraFunnels)
  • Use insights and data to drive conversion and click-worthy work on a variety of channels.
  • Support organizational efforts from product launches to lifecycle campaigns– approaching each project with the end user in mind.
  • Understand trends in the e-commerce/e-learning space and beyond and how they translate to our portfolio.
  • Test and iterate to drive volume and boost conversion across every touchpoint.
  • Work closely with the marketing team and product owners to infuse brand voice into direct response copy.
  • Take sensitive, highly personal, and often taboo/stigmatized subject matters and turn it into messaging that resonates with our patients and potential patients.
  • Work with team stakeholders to optimize top-performing copy, but always think outside the box to find the next big win.
  • Able to tackle old problems in new ways–bringing fresh ideas on how to get a consumer to take a desired action.
  • Coordinate with our legal team to ensure all written content is both legally compliant and effective - and translate your key learnings to the other members of the content team–ensuring consistency across the board.

What You’ll Bring to the Team:

  • 3-5 years of experience writing for a startup or growth stage company,
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally in a scrappy, fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable writing across a variety of channels including, email, landing pages, search and social media (We send a lot of email)
  • Communication style that breaks down complex information in an easily understood and thoughtful manner.
  • Ability to translate brand guidelines into a consistent, ownable voice.
  • Scrupulous proofreading and copyediting skills and flawless grammar.
  • Ability to work quickly, independently, and with some ambiguity.
  • An open mindset and eagerness to learn through feedback
  • NOTE: This will turn into a full-time position approximately 3 months into employment.
