In this role, you’ll be working on our test engineering infrastructure, and processes while promoting a culture of quality assurance within the development team. While utilizing your programming skills to design and develop detailed and robust test automation, you’ll engage in functional and performance testing with an agile methodology in mind to test the integrity of our products and product features.
What You’ll Do:
- Design, develop, and execute automated tests using Cypress.
- Perform manual testing to identify and document defects.
- Oversee the manual regression cycle at the end of each release, ensuring thorough testing and accurate reporting.
- Collaborate with developers to understand product functionality and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Review and analyze system specifications to develop effective test plans.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on unit tests in Python and Java.
- Identify, record, and track bugs using appropriate tools.
- Analyze and ensure compliance with QA standards and processes.
Requirements
What You’ll Bring:
- BS degree in Computer Science or similar technical field of study.
- 2+ years of professional experience as a QA Engineer or similar role.
- Interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
- Knowledge of QA processes and tools.
- Fast learner with an ability to work in a dynamic high-growth environment.
- Ability to multitask and work against extremely tight deadlines.
- Proficiency with our tech stack which includes: Java, JavaScript, and Python.
- Proficiency with Jira.
- Experience with Cypress, Selenium or other Web UI automation frameworks is a plus.
