About the Role
We are seeking a talented and analytical Marketing Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis and a passion for understanding consumer behavior. You will play a crucial role in optimizing our marketing efforts by providing actionable insights and recommendations. Your work will directly impact our ability to attract, engage, and retain customers in a competitive direct-to-consumer market.
Requirements
What you will do:
- Data Collection and Analysis:
- Gather and analyze data from various sources, including sales, web analytics, social media, and customer feedback.
- Identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform marketing strategies and decision-making.
Market Research:
- Conduct primary and secondary research to understand market conditions, consumer preferences, and competitive landscape.
- Analyze survey data, focus group results, and other research findings to support marketing initiatives.
Campaign Performance Analysis:
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
- Provide detailed reports and presentations on campaign performance, including ROI and other key metrics.
Customer Segmentation:
- Develop and refine customer segmentation models to target specific consumer groups effectively.
- Provide recommendations for personalized marketing tactics to enhance customer engagement and retention.
Dashboards and Visualization:
- Create and maintain dashboards to provide real-time insights into marketing performance.
- Use data visualization tools to present findings in a clear and compelling manner.
Strategic Recommendations:
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop data-driven strategies and initiatives.
- Offer actionable recommendations to improve marketing efficiency and effectiveness.
Forecasting and Budgeting:
- Conduct predictive analysis to forecast future market trends and consumer behaviors.
- Assist in budgeting and financial planning for marketing activities.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Marketing Analyst or similar role, preferably in a direct-to-consumer business.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Google Analytics, Data Studio / Looker).
- Experience with market research techniques and tools.
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
