Role Overview:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Machine Learning Engineer to join our remote team. The Machine Learning Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing machine learning models that enhance our products’ functionality and user experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machine learning, data science, and software development, with a passion for creating innovative and impactful solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement machine learning models to solve complex problems and enhance product functionality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define machine learning requirements and ensure seamless integration with other systems.
- Preprocess and analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights and features for model training.
- Evaluate and optimize machine learning models for performance, scalability, and accuracy.
- Monitor and maintain deployed models, ensuring they continue to perform as expected.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning and AI technologies.
- Conduct research and experiments to develop new machine-learning algorithms and approaches.
- Document machine learning processes, models, and findings for future reference.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or similar role in data science or software development.
- Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, techniques, and frameworks.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C#, or C++.
- Experience with machine learning libraries and tools such as ONNX, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the assistive technology industry.
- Familiarity with accessibility technologies and standards.
- Knowledge of cloud services and deployment (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud).
- Experience with Automatic speech recognition, computer vision, and generative AI

Compensation:
This role has a salary range of $110,000 to $140,000 based on experience and geography as well as a stock options package.
