About the Role

As a Lead Fullstack Engineer, you will be instrumental in defining OLarry’s growth by defining, planning, and implementing our customer-facing technology. This role reports to the COO. 


Responsibilities

  • Ensure the timely and high-quality delivery of engineering projects by setting clear priorities and deadlines.
  • Collaborate with other stakeholders across the company to define product requirements and weigh implementation options.
  • Understand customer needs and feedback, translating them into actionable engineering tasks and improvements.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues that arise
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
  • Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and best practices in development
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and training of new engineers to build a high-performing team.


Skills & Experience 

  • Experience as a lead engineer managing the delivery of a consumer-facing product. 
  • Experience with fullstack development with a strong focus on React, Next.js, and leveraging Figma for front-end development.
  • Expertise in back-end technologies like Node.js, Python, or similar, along with experience in building RESTful APIs.
  • Strong understanding of database systems (SQL, NoSQL) and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Google Cloud).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Previous experience with fintech or similarly regulated space 
  • A high level of EQ, personal drive, and professionalism that adheres to the OLarry Core Pillars.
