Jr. Project Manager

Reporting to the Senior Program Manager, the Jr. Project Manager will act as a point of contact for smaller internal and external projects as well as assist the team of Product Managers on product launches. The Project Manager will lead various aspects of ThinkOn projects and seek guidance from more Senior Project Management resources where required. Responsibilities will include coordination, task assignment and follow-up within ThinkOn, escalations, partner/subscriber communication (when/if required), vendor engagement as required, and SLA Management. The PM will collaborate across ThinkOn in order to understand ThinkOn project delivery processes and will be expected to develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of ThinkOn products, services and methodologies while participating in successful project implementations.

You Will:

    • Develop an understanding of ThinkOn service offerings, underlying infrastructure, and capabilities to ensure customer satisfaction and successful delivery of ThinkOn services
    • Coordinate vendor selection
    • Manage project scope, plans and schedules based on available resources and other unique project dependencies
    • Manage the overall planning, direction, coordination, execution, control and completion of assigned projects across the company
    • Define project scope, goals and deliverables
    • Become knowledgeable of the solutions being developed
    • Orchestrate and manage a holistic project lifecycle, delivery cadence, release plan and/or sprint schedule
    • Oversee the creation and execution of test plans for upgrades and future project implementations
    • Create, maintain and update the documentation in relation to IT Governance and IT Framework guidelines
    • Follow documented Change Control procedures and processes
    • Oversee the issues management process
    • Work closely with the partner/subscriber to ensure changes are delivered as requested by the customer in a timely fashion
    • Willing to learn and work with project plans, requirements documents, detailed design documents, flows, use cases, sequence diagrams, and context diagrams

You Have:

    • Knowledge and Experience with PMI Methodologies seeking PMP Certification
    • Knowledge of Agile project management methodologies
    • Proficient in Project Management tools and Project reporting
    • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, activities, and tasks under time constraints
    • Experience managing projects
    • Some knowledge of Microsoft Projects and Microsoft Excel is a plus
    • Experience with Atlassian / Jira / Confluence is a plus
    • ITIL Knowledge and/or Certification is an asset
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Flexibility to work after-hours as per project/client requirements
