In the role of IT Reporting / Data  Analyst, you will actively look for opportunities to provide insightful management information across the business having an awareness of current gaps in reporting. Working with multiple stakeholders you will build strong data models and transform data into meaningful reports on which firm IT operational decisions can be based.

You will have the imagination and creativity to present reporting in a range of engaging ways to aid understanding, having your customers' interests at the heart of your work.

Responsibilities

• Develop self-service tools that will allow the business to access clear data trends and values.

• Creatively design and build insightful reports using Google applications on a regular and ad-hoc basis to enable day-to-day operational management and support new propositions.

• Establish and embed a robust process for the end-to-end fulfillment of reporting requests.

• Ability to interpret and articulate results to stakeholders with various technical knowledge levels.

• Extract and transform raw data using SQL and understand the data and identify and convey any trends or themes.

• You will work independently on specific projects, from the scoping of requirements through to final delivery of solid reports. This will involve managing stakeholder expectations of all levels, personal skills development and delivering within agreed timescales.

• Drive improvements to the current reporting platforms, with automation and user self serve objectives in mind. 

Requirements

• 1-2+ years Google Sheets / Excel capabilities, including Pivot Tables & Formulae.

• 1-2+ years of SQL experience desired however not essential.

• An interest in learning and using data visualization tools such as Business Objects / Google app script in their day-to-day role

• Able to interpret data, spot and understand trends with the ability to communicate the results in a clear way to stakeholders of various technical abilities

• The knowledge of and ability to construct large data models confidently and adhering to best practice.
