Full Stack Developer

Full time, 32 hours/week, 100% Remote

$82,500/year + annual profit sharing

Are you tired of grinding out software for venture capitalists? Do you want to make software that helps conserve land and water across the US and Canada? Then come join our small team where you can unleash your creativity and use your superpowers for good.

We are looking for a Full Stack Developer to work on Landscape , our SaaS product for land conservation management.

The successful candidate will have demonstrated skill in:

●       Front-end web technologies including JavaScript, HTML and CSS

●       JavaScript UI frameworks like Vue, React, or Angular (Landscape uses Vue)

●       .NET/C# server-side technologies

●       REST API design and implementation

●       Microsoft Azure or other cloud infrastructure providers

●       MongoDB

●       Written communications

Job duties will include:

●       Participating in the design and implementation of new features and functionality

●       Problem-solving and bug-fixing

●       Front-line email customer support

o  Everyone on the team participates in a weekly schedule of customer support. Strong written communication and customer service skills are essential.

●       Once or twice per year travel for conference booth duty

We are a small team that believes in an egalitarian model of management and responsibility. There are no “entry-level” jobs here and we don’t have pay scales based on perceived value to the company. Pay is completely transparent and based solely on length of tenure with the company. Everyone contributes their best and is compensated fairly for doing so. If you’re looking to climb the ladder or build an empire, this might not be the right position for you.

Work hours and benefits

Full-time at Dendroyka is a flexible 32 hours per week and our team is 100% remote. We offer unlimited sick leave, 11 paid holidays and 128 hours of paid time off beginning on your first day of employment. We offer 8 weeks of paid family leave.

At the end of every year a percentage of profits is distributed evenly to all employees.

At this time we do not offer health benefits or a retirement plan.

Dendroyka was founded in 2014 and launched Landscape in 2015. We are a team of three with backgrounds in non-profit land conservation. Our work is fully supported by the profits generated by Landscape and we have no outside investors. Our mission is to make great software for a cause we believe in. We are growing our business organically and in a way that promotes creative work in a supportive team culture with a healthy work-life balance.
