What will you be doing?
The Email Marketer and Copywriter is responsible for creating compelling and effective copy for marketing materials, such as website content, emails, and social media posts. This person will work closely with the marketing and creative teams to understand the company’s brand and messaging, and use data and analytics to measure the effectiveness of their writing.
- Create compelling and effective copy for marketing materials, such as website content, emails, and social media posts
- Work closely with the marketing and creative teams to understand the company’s brand and messaging, and create copy that aligns with the brand
- Use data and analytics to measure the effectiveness of writing, and make adjustments as needed
- Collaborate with other departments, such as product and sales, to create cohesive marketing materials
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in marketing copywriting
- Conduct market and customer research to understand the target audience and create relevant and engaging copy
- Edit and proofread marketing materials checking clarity, grammar and spelling to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Measure and report on the success of marketing materials, using metrics such as website traffic, email opens, and conversions
- Identify and resolve challenges and issues within the marketing copywriting process
- Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of the company’s copywriting process
- Identify target audience and grow our email list
- Design and implement direct email marketing campaigns
- Ensure mobile-friendly email templates
- Write newsletters including all company updates
- Upgrade our email templates using graphics, personalization and advanced features
- Ensure prompt and accurate communication with clients via email to minimize unsubscribes
- Create email databases for lead generation
- Analyze campaign performance and suggest improvements
- Report on sales revenue generated from email marketing efforts
Requirements
What will you bring?
- 2-3 years of experience in copywriting and/or email marketing fields
- Experience with ActiveCampaign
- Experience with High ticket Sales funnels business
- Ability to understand/solve tracking problems
- Strong writing and editing skills, with a portfolio of writing samples
- Ability to resolve deliverability issues
- Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools, such as Google Analytics
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with a team
- Knowledge of the company’s target audience and goals
- Ability to conduct market and customer research to create relevant and engaging copy
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Time management and organizational skills
- Flexibility and adaptability to change
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
