Simpluris seeks to hire a Digital Marketing Manager based out of our Costa Mesa, CA Headquarters (preferred). The ideal candidate is a self-starter that thrives in a fast-pace, dynamic B2B environment. They are comfortable working towards high-level corporate objectives while responding to urgent needs from across the organization. They have the ability to juggle multiple assignments at once, while upholding a high quality of work and keen attention to detail. Most importantly, they have excellent prioritization skills, ensuring delivery of all projects on time with the highest quality. The ideal candidate is solutions-oriented and comfortable wearing many hats. They are constantly learning and developing their marketing skillset.

Job Summary

Reporting to the Sr. Director of Notice and Director of Marketing, the Simpluris Digital Marketing Manager is a critical contributor of Simpluris’ growing Legal Notification and Business Development Departments.  


Legal Notification 

Responsible for planning and buying digital media (Facebook, Instagram, Reddit, Search, Programmatic Display). Must plan and execute campaigns across digital, print, and radio. This position will provide research and media pricing for client proposals, and will monitor, optimize, and report on the performance of campaigns. The Digital Marketing Manager will also create digital ads for campaigns. 


Digital Marketing 

Responsible for Simpluris’ digital footprint including LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, directory listings and website at Simpluris.com. This role works collaboratively with the marketing and business development team, graphic designer, and many key stakeholders throughout the organization to execute the task at hand. It is important that they develop strong relationships with internal cross functional teams, including executives, client services, and sales.  


Business Marketing 

Assist in updating master marketing materials, creating RFP and pitch content, and tracking KPIs. Work with marketing team on maintaining ranking submissions for key legal publications. Participate in the onboarding of new personnel, scheduling headshot photos, drafting press releases, updating the website, and coordinating other key touchpoints. Support production and distribution of quarterly newsletters and other internal communications.  


Industry Events & Conferences 

Support event activities for brand and industry events including pre-planning, event strategy, ordering and processing gifts, onsite support, and execution. Maintain inventory of marketing giveaways for conferences and events. Coordinate the ordering and shipments of assets, promotional items and collateral needed for events and conferences. Support of larger sponsorships and strategic partnerships with external organizations. Responsibilities include frequent check-ins, monitoring the calendar of events and ensuring we are upholding our goals with the organization. Represent the firm at seminars, events, conferences, and tradeshows, as may be required or assigned; this includes managing exhibit booth set-up, staffing, and meaningfully engaging with clients and prospects. The Marketing Associate assists client loyalty campaigns and efforts to improve Simpluris’ “White Glove” service.    

Sales Support & Content Creation 


Support the effectiveness of the firm’s client relationship management (CRM) database by entering contact data, conducting research to find or correct missing or outdated data, and helping to build mailing lists. Help run analytics reports and compile analytics data related to marketing and business development activities. 


Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or communication with at least 3 years of media experience   
  • Experience in Legal Administration or the desire to learn the industry  
  • Experience with planning and buying programmatic online display advertising 
  • Plain language writing experience is a plus 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex info clearly  
  • Ability to plan, manage and execute projects with cross functional stakeholders 
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms, including paid social, paid search, content marketing, email marketing 
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and optimize marketing campaigns using sound statistical methodologies and KPIs to leverage results to inform strategy 
  • Basic knowledge of website management and foundations of SEO  
  • Ability to travel up to 15% 

PROFICIENCY IN THE FOLLOWING PLATFORMS PREFERRED   

  • Salesforce Sales Cloud or similar CRM 
  • Demand Side Platform (“DSP”) digital media buying (DV360, The Trade Desk, Choozle) 
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) 
  • WordPress or similar CMS 
  • Salesforce Pardot or other Marketing Automation Tool 
  • Google Analytics and Search Console  
  • Facebook Business Manager  
  • Google Ad Words  
  • Adobe Suite, Figma, Canva
