We are seeking a talented and experienced Designer to join our Growth CRM team. As a Designer, Growth CRM, you will be responsible for designing visually appealing and personalized communications that drive customer engagement and maximize lifetime value. You will collaborate closely with the CRM and cross-functional teams to understand customer insights and translate them into impactful designs across various channels.

What you’ll be doing:

Collaborate with the Growth CRM team to understand customer insights, campaign objectives, and messaging requirements
Design visually compelling and personalized communications across multiple channels, including email, push notifications, modals, and in-app messages
Create and optimize visually appealing campaign assets, including graphics, images, and videos
Ensure designs are consistent with brand guidelines and effectively communicate key messages
Use data-driven insights to inform design decisions and optimize campaign performance
Conduct A/B testing and analyze performance data to iterate and improve designs for better engagement and conversion rates
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and content teams, to align designs with overall brand strategy
Stay up to date with design trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in growth CRM, incorporating them into design strategies
Maintain design consistency across all CRM materials and ensure compliance with relevant legal, compliance, and privacy regulations
Deliver high-quality designs within project deadlines, managing multiple projects simultaneously

What you’ll need:

3+ years of experience as a Designer in a growth CRM or similar role, with a portfolio showcasing impactful CRM design work
Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch, or similar design tools
Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout composition
Knowledge of HTML and CSS for designing responsive and mobile-friendly campaigns
Experience with CRM platforms and executing designs within CRM systems
Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to optimize design performance
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively articulate design decisions and ideas
Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt designs based on feedback and data-driven insights

The applicable salary range for each role is based on where the applicant lives and is aligned to one of 3 zones according to a cost of labor index in that geographic area. Our Talent Acquisition team can help answer any questions about location after starting the recruiting process.

Starting pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands.

The expected base salary ranges for this role are below. These ranges may be modified in the future. In addition to base salary, Mercari’s total compensation package includes equity and a full range of physical, financial and well-being benefits. Zone 1* $111,200-$166,800

Zone 2** $100,100-$150,100

Zone 3*** $89,000-$133,400
