As a Data Warehouse Engineer you will be at the forefront of shaping the data landscape and crafting a cohesive data platform that serves as the backbone for Outside’s future growth.

We’re looking for someone who is passionate about leveraging data to positively change business outcomes and is excited by the opportunity to help develop our modern cloud-based data platform. You will be working with an amazing team of developers, analysts, and business partners to develop a wide portfolio of data assets leveraging our cloud-based environments. Our Data Warehouse Engineers are the foundation of our data program!

This role can be 100% remote in the United States or Canada

What You Bring

· Strong understanding of data flow, process and transformation techniques.

· Demonstrated experience with ETL/ELT design and development in a Data Warehousing environment, using cloud-based enterprise class tools like dbt, Informatica, Matillion, and others.

· Experience with data integration tools like Fivetran, Attunity, Diyotta etc.

· Strong understanding of cloud-based database management systems such as Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery or similar.

· Ability to work seamlessly with data including unstructured, semi-structured, and structured data sets.

· Track record of partnering with both technical, and non-technical business users to drive value across the enterprise.

· A high degree of self-motivation, with proven ability to thrive and have impact in a fast-paced environment.

· A problem solving mindset, seeing challenges as opportunities and being adept at devising creative solutions to complex data problems.

What You Have

3+ Years of experience with the following:

· ETL/ELT development within an Enterprise Data Warehouse Environment

· Experience with a cloud-based Data Warehouse environment such as Snowflake, Redshift, etc.

· Performance tuning in both read and write capacities across varied data systems

· Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science or equivalent experience

Not Required, But Great If You Have These Too

· Hands on experience with Fivetran Data Replication

· Experience with Tableau or similar data visualization and exploration platforms.

Remote jobs that can be performed in Boulder, Colorado: Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $85,000 to $115,000. Other benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, Flexible Time Away, sick leave, and many more.
