We are seeking an experienced Data Governance Lead to join our growing data governance team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and leading the implementation of our enterprise-wide data governance program. You will work closely with business stakeholders, data stewards, and IT teams to establish standards, policies, and processes that ensure the reliability, security, and compliance of our critical business data.

that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline.
Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate’s skills, expertise, or experience.
In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges
for new hires in each zone are:
Zone A: $173,600 - $231,500
Zone B: $156,300 - $208,300
Zone C: $144,100 - $192,100
This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business and IT leaders to define the data governance strategy, vision, and roadmap aligned with organizational goals
- Establish and maintain a data governance framework, including data policies, standards, processes, and procedures
- Lead the creation and ongoing management of a data catalog, data dictionary, and other data asset inventories
- Oversee the identification and appointment of data stewards across the organization
- Facilitate data governance meetings, working groups, and training programs to build a data-centric culture
- Monitor and report on data quality, data usage, and other key data metrics
- Develop and implement data security and privacy controls to ensure regulatory compliance
- Provide guidance and support to business users on data-related issues and requests
- Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements to the data governance program
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in data governance, data management, or a related field
- Strong understanding of data management concepts, principles, and best practices
- Proven ability to lead the design and implementation of enterprise-wide data governance programs
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and facilitating workshops/meetings
- Familiarity with data quality frameworks, data security, and regulatory requirements
- Knowledge of data modeling, data architecture, and data engineering concepts
- Proficiency in using data governance tools and platforms
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- DAMA-CDMP certification a plus
