As a Cloud Engineer, you will focus on building and managing cloud infrastructure, code pipelines, and cutting-edge software solutions for some of the world’s most advanced manufacturers, working with a team of experts in software design, algorithms, and interface design.
Our ideal candidate has strong expertise in cloud infrastructure, is excited to own the infrastructure and contribute to development, has excellent verbal and written communication skills, and is enthusiastic about growing with an evolving new business. This is a fast-paced startup environment; candidates should be interested in working in a dynamic, agile engineering culture.
What you’ll do:
- Maintain the Cloud Infrastructure in AWS Cloud - 30%
- Maintain the Developer Tooling (Code Pipeline, Release & CI) - 10%
- Troubleshoot Production and Performance Issues - 10%
- Development - 50%
- Work with a skilled team to create software in an agile scrum setting
- Collaborate with product, design & business stakeholders to understand business needs, establish software requirements, and implement solutions
- Write quality code following proven design patterns with tests and documentation
- Perform code reviews, engage in skill development and knowledge sharing
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in AWS
- ALB, Docker Containers on ECS, CloudFormation, Aurora, CodePipeline
- 3+ years of experience in Web Development, Ruby on Rails (or related technologies)
- 3+ years of experience in React.js (or related javascript frameworks)
- 3+ years of experience in PostgreSQL (or any RDBMS)
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (preferably Computer Science or Engineering)
- Given the industries we serve, this position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes a US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
