The Accounting Specialist is a vital piece of the PetVisor Finance Team. This position would support the accounting team with accounts payable and expense management, cash applications, and monthly close tasks to facilitate a smooth financial reporting process. Candidates are expected to have strong attention to detail, demonstrated problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and work independently.

- Carefully reconcile bank and credit card statements to ensure accuracy in financial transactions
- Efficiently process invoices and accurately code them into our system. Maintain and update vendor records in compliance with supporting documents
- Thoroughly research and resolve any errors or omissions in financial documentation
- Oversee accounts payable processes, including invoice processing, payment batches, and responding to payment inquiries
- Keep vendor records up-to-date and contribute to process improvements for efficient filing and organization
- Manage expense reports, accounts payable, and credit card reconciliations
- Organize journal entries and perform detailed account analysis to provide valuable insights
- Assist in the month-end close process to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
About You
- 1+ years of accounting/bookkeeping experience
- Basic Knowledge of Excel and G Suite, experience with NetSuite is a plus
- Must have attention to detail with an eye for accuracy
- Strong communication and problem-solving
- Ability to multi-task and switch between tasks
- Ability to work independently and adapt to a fast-changing environment
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, finance, or equivalent working experience
