As a Mid-Market Account Manager, you will be responsible for cultivating strong relationships with our Mid-Market customers, understanding their business needs, and identifying opportunities to expand their Fleetio footprint.

What you’ll be doing

You will own the commercial relationship with a defined set of customers in our mid-market segment. You’ll be partnering with Customer Success to deliver customer value but owning the expansion AND renewal motion for the customer.

  • Own the renewal motion for your customers - driving on-time renewals, mitigating churn risk and driving growth.
  • Proactively uncover & create expansion opportunities within your set of accounts.
  • Own the activities and behaviors that drive our customer health metrics. You’ll focus on metrics such as renewal rates, expansion pipeline creation, expansion ARR, etc.
  • Collaborate closely with Customer Success Managers to deliver an exceptional customer experience, maximizing product adoption, value, and satisfaction.
  • Partner with our Account Executives to create a seamless customer handover motion.
  • Maintain deep expertise in Fleetio’s product offerings and industry trends to effectively communicate their value to customers.
  • In summary, Account Management is a sales role working with existing customers. You’ll operate with a new business mindset to prospecting while driving revenue growth at renewal & off-cycle.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of sales and Account Management experience with a track record of exceeding the quota-carrying role. Broader sales or customer success experience is valuable as well.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS business models and renewal strategies.
  • A natural relationship builder, with the ability to connect & engage with contacts across various industries & seniority levels.
  • A true collaborator, being able to work as a team toward a common objective.
  • Command of the room and the ability to run highly effective meetings (in-person & virtual).
  • Results-driven, highly organized, and the ability to thrive under pressure.
  • Resourceful and determined, yet not afraid to ask for help.
  • Excited by technology and its ability to make you more productive.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
