Position Overview
- The Account Executive, Partnerships, will be responsible for generating new business revenue by prospecting and selling BiggerPockets sponsorship advertising assets, utilizing a consultative approach to meet the needs of potential partners.
- The Account Executive, Partnerships will focus on identifying, prospecting, proposing, and acquiring new partnerships, inclusive of identifying brand partners for marquee entitlement assets (i.e.Title Sponsorships, Media Partnerships, Business Development Partnerships, etc) and play a key role in the growth of our corporate partnership revenue generation.
Role Duties & Responsibilities
- Serve as a principal contributor to sourcing and selling marquee entitlement assets
- Negotiate high-value contracts to meet and exceed annual revenue goals
- Research and build relationships with local, regional, and national companies/brands to highlight the advantages of investing in comprehensive marketing programs with BiggerPockets brand
- Execute the entirety of the sales process: prospecting, building/presenting sales presentations and end-of-year recaps, creating proposals, creating/negotiating contracts, upselling/renewing current partners, etc
- Manage a book of business and be responsible for the upselling and renewing of current partners
- Ability to analyze a client’s marketing needs and craft integrated solutions to meet those needs
- Negotiating skills, ability to identify and influence key decision makers
- Coordinate any sponsor-related projects as assigned by the head of department
- Other duties as assigned
Your Skills & Experience
- Experience selling comprehensive integrated marketing partnerships including major media elements (signage, radio, social, digital, etc.) or selling premium sales such as suites, loge boxes, etc in the sports world.
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing, including but not limited to social media, content marketing, banner ads, mobile, retargeting and websites, including interpreting performance analytics for all areas
- Experience and/or the ability to build successful commercial relations with corporate partners to secure new business and sell multi-year, million-dollar partnerships
- Strong work ethic with a track record of delivering results in high-pressure situations
- Work across the organization to deliver complicated deals that support organizational goals and objectives.
- Strong presentation skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including but not limited to evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively to problem-solve, prioritize, and meet deadlines
- Detail-oriented and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in real estate is a plus!
Compensation
- This role has a base salary of $64,500 + benefits with commission. Potential earnings in your first year are estimated to be between $75,000 - $110,000.
