Description

You will be part of the team responsible for the quality and accuracy of our customer-facing product documentation. You will conduct hands-on research and collaborate with subject matter experts to translate content into clear, concise, user-centric documentation. This means that sometimes you will develop content yourself, sometimes you will edit and incorporate content from someone else, and sometimes you will optimize and reorganize existing documentation.

Core Responsibilities:

· Create, edit, and maintain user documentation for multiple Redpoint Global products, adhering to established processes and standards.

· Work closely with engineering, product, and support teams to ensure the quality, accuracy, and usefulness of the documentation.

Requirements

· 3- 5 years of experience writing and editing technical content (online help, user guides, etc.).

· Bachelor’s degree in a writing- or technology-related field; or equivalent experience.

· Experience producing and organizing user-centered content with a logical flow.

· Ability to comprehend and break down large chunks of technical content into more digestible bits for technical and non-technical users.

· Ability to work on multiple projects efficiently while consistently meeting deadlines.

· Ability to collaborate effectively across the organization, as well as work independently.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

· Experience with documentation authoring tools and markup languages such as XML, HTML, Markdown, etc.

· Working knowledge of source control and defect tracking systems.

Nice to have:

· Experience with RESTful APIs/Swagger, React, Angular, or JavaScript
