About the opportunity
A Sr Technical Content Developer creates and maintains technical documentation and other written materials that explain complex concepts, processes, and procedures. Their primary goal is to communicate technical information clearly and effectively to customers, software developers, system administrators, end-users, or other technical professionals.
What you’ll get to do
- Writes customer-facing descriptions of new features and resolved issues for the release notes by reading available design documentation
- Communicates with development teams, and verifies new functionality in the application
- Creates new and updates existing end-user and system documentation to reflect the new features and functionality added in each release
- Leads and actively champions initiatives to improve documentation quality and processes
- Advocates the end-user’s experience in all product and documentation discussions.
Skills and experience we value
- 5+ years experience with software documentation
- Experience managing projects independently
- Organize project and deadlines, collaborates with major stakeholders and keep tasks moving
- Able to take initiative
- Plans effectively and uses documentation tools
