The Senior Software Engineer at Valerian Technology will play a key role in executing the technical vision and plans laid out by our Principal Software Engineers. This role demands an individual with a solid technical background, capable of coding and implementing complex software solutions across various technology stacks. The Senior Software Engineer will work closely with the development team, applying advanced engineering practices to develop, optimize, and maintain software applications that meet our high standards of quality and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

Software Development Execution: Translate the architectural designs and strategies developed by Principal Software Engineers into high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software solutions. Take a hands-on approach to coding, debugging, and testing across multiple projects and technology stacks.
Technical Proficiency and Innovation: Demonstrate expertise in software development with proficiency across a broad range of technologies and programming languages. Continuously innovate and improve development practices to enhance product quality and performance.
Collaboration and Support: Work collaboratively with project teams, including Principal Software Engineers, project managers, and other software engineers, to ensure seamless project execution. Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers, contributing to their growth and development.
Quality Assurance and Best Practices: Implement and maintain high standards of software quality through best practices, including code reviews, unit testing, and automated testing. Ensure all software is developed in accordance with the technical and design specifications.
Problem-Solving: Address technical challenges with innovative solutions. Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues, ensuring the stability and reliability of our software products.

Qualifications:

Strong background in software development, with proven experience in developing and implementing complex software applications.
Proficiency in multiple programming languages and familiarity with various tech stacks, demonstrating the ability to adapt to new technologies.
Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to tackle challenges efficiently and effectively.
Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
A commitment to continuous learning and improvement in software engineering practices.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
A minimum of 6+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a track record of successful project execution.
