Description

Gigasavvy is seeking a talented Senior Copywriter to join our creative team. As a Senior Copywriter, you will be responsible for developing engaging and compelling short and long-form content for a variety of mediums. You will work closely with teams across multiple departments to understand client goals and brand visions, and translate them into impactful copy that resonates with the target audience.


Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the copywriter include agency-wide support across multiple facets of the business.

  • Collaborate with the creative team to concept and develop creative ideas and campaigns
  • Collaborate with designers, art directors, and other team members to bring copy to life through campaign headlines, taglines, and pitch summaries
  • Write clear, concise, and compelling copy that aligns with brand guidelines and brand voice
  • Develop copy for a variety of marketing channels including digital ad, emails, print ads, and radio and television scripts
  • Develop social media copy for a variety of clients across multiple industries
  • Develop thought-leadership content based on strategic guidance on insights and data to inform relevant topics.
  • Edit and proofread copy to ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality of all final deliverables
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in copywriting and advertising


Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a copywriter in an agency or similar environment
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of work across various mediums and industries
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to understand and interpret client briefs and brand guidelines
  • Proficient in writing for digital and social media platforms
  • Experience in writing scripts for video and other multimedia content
  • Attention to detail and ability to self-edit and proofread
  • Ability to work collaboratively and receive feedback
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or related field preferred
  • Must be located in the United States, preferably in Southern California
