Example of the API client E.g. A global bank could 3x unit economics & engagement by offering invoicing automation like Invoice2go and payables automation like Bill.com/Meliopayments directly in their offering, leveraging Monite’s API. This can all be deployed in as little as 4 weeks as opposed to the 12-18 months it would take to build.

About the role

We’re looking for a Senior Account Executive to join as part of the founding US team to help build and scale our US Sales function. Day to day, you will be working on:

  • Generating new opportunities from targeted outbound activity, networking and referrals
  • Full-sales cycle management - from generating leads to closing deals
  • Salesforce maintenance
  • Sales tooling

You’ll work closely with Product and Payments teams to help shape the overall business strategy.


We’re looking for someone who can help shape our brand-new Sales function in the US. Ideally, you’ll be a self-starter who’s worked in this type of role before; has scaled Sales functions from an early stage, and who has a target list of clients in the finance and fintech sector. You will have:

  • 8+ years experience within a Business Development Manager/ Executive position
  • Sold API and infrastructure into financial institutions, fintech’s & vertical SaaS
  • Worked in a fintech/payments solutions organisation
  • Experience within mid-market / enterprise sales
  • A data-driven mindset and the ability to use metrics & funnels to monitor sales performance, come up with initiatives, and identify blockers

  • Full cycle - you have no issue with sourcing your own pipeline and running the full sales cycle
