What’s the opportunity?

As a Product Manager specializing in eCommerce SaaS, you will be responsible for leading the strategy, development, and execution of at least one of our product’s features and capabilities.

Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, sales, marketing, and customer support, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of some of our product offerings.

You will leverage your deep understanding of eCommerce trends, customer needs, and technical capabilities to deliver innovative solutions that drive value for both our clients and our company.

The successful candidate will be hands-on, actively engaging in the day-to-day tasks, and bringing a proactive approach to our small but impactful team. This position will report to the Chief Product Officer.

This is a remote-only position - you’ll be able to work from anywhere.



What you’ll do:

  • Product and Platform Strategy: Develop a comprehensive and forward-thinking product strategy for the eCommerce SaaS platform, aligned with the company’s vision and market trends.
  • Identify opportunities for differentiation and competitive advantage.
  • Improve and manage existing products or define / launch new platforms. 
  • Provide clear and technical direction (including wireframes) to developers and QA engineers, ensuring the successful execution of features on time and within scope.
  • Roadmap Planning: Create and maintain a product roadmap that outlines the timeline and prioritization of features, improvements, and upgrades and communicate the roadmap effectively across the organization.
  • Feature Development: Lead cross-functional teams through the entire product development lifecycle, from concept to launch. 
  • Requirements Gathering:Collaborate closely with stakeholders, clients, and internal teams to gather and prioritize requirements. Translate customer needs and business goals into clear and actionable product specifications.
  • Data-Driven Decisions: Utilize data analytics and user insights to make informed product decisions. Monitor key performance metrics and iterate on features to optimize performance and user satisfaction.
  • Market -Research stay attuned to the eCommerce industry landscape and analyze competitor offerings, market trends, and customer feedback to identify new features, enhancements, and potential areas of growth.
  • User-Centric Design: Champion user-centered design principles to create intuitive, user-friendly, and impactful features. Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to continuously enhance the user experience.
  • Product Launch: Coordinate the successful launch of new features or enhancements, collaborating with marketing, sales, and customer support teams to ensure a seamless introduction to the market.
  • Documentation and Training: Create comprehensive product documentation, user guides, and training materials to facilitate user adoption and customer success.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and transparent communication channels with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders, providing updates on product developments, milestones, and challenges.

What you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Product Management, or a related field. 
  • Proven track record of 5+ years in product management, preferably in the eCommerce or SaaS industry understanding of technical stack is a strong plus (Node, Javascript, PSQL, PHP, React, AWS, MongoDB, and Heroku) - including ability to effectively communicate with engineering teams
  • Deep understanding of eCommerce concepts, trends, and customer behaviors.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies and project management tools (Trello, Jira, etc.).
  • Experience with design thinking and user-centered design principles building wireframes, particularly with Figma. 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
