After four rounds of funding, Ryte is now growing its US team in anticipation of its app launch in the US.

About The Role

Ryte is looking for a passionate Community Manager to help spread the word about Ryte’s mission to revolutionize the healthcare industry. As a founding team member, you’ll play a crucial role in shaping Ryte’s digital identity, connecting with our audiences, and driving engagement. You’re a solution-focused creative with a knack for building relationships and an entrepreneurial spirit. Ryte invites you to join its mission to bring transparency and accessibility to healthcare.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a dynamic, experienced professional with at least 3 years of community management, particularly within the healthcare or tech industries. You should be adept at navigating social media platforms and app store environments, demonstrating resilience and autonomy within a startup context. A strong character with the ability to work independently, remain calm under pressure, and confidently handle unforeseen situations is key. You should also have excellent communication skills, with an empathetic understanding of diverse user experiences, and a strategic mindset to engage and grow the community in alignment with Ryte’s mission.

What You’ll Be Doing – Day-to-Day

Community Engagement and Growth

  • Actively engage with and grow Ryte’s online communities across various platforms, including social media, forums, app stores, and review sites.
  • Build a strategy for the organisation of virtual and in-person events to bring Ryte’s community together, share knowledge, and build relationships.
  • Respond to community inquiries and feedback in a way that is consistent with the Ryte brand’s voice and values.

Content Development and Management

  • Contribute to the development of engaging content, such as blog posts, social media updates, and community newsletters, to educate and inform our audience about our products and mission.
  • Identify and collaborate with healthcare influencers that fit with the brand image and advocate to increase brand awareness, expanding the company’s reach.
  • Create policy documents and guides to streamline community interactions.

Analytics and Reporting

  • Track and analyze community metrics to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for growth, using these to build monthly engagement reports that provide an overview of KPIs.
  • Providing actionable insights to the team based on your findings.
  • Stay aware of changes in the social media landscape, policies, platform updates, and build comprehensive reports to the team.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and customer success, to align community efforts with broader company goals.
  • Share community feedback with the product team to inform product development.
  • Coordinate with support teams to address issues raised through community channels.

As the Community Manager at Ryte, you will be the beating heart of the company’s online presence, critical in nurturing Ryte’s digital ecosystem, driving engagement, and shaping the brand’s public perception.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (proficiency in Spanish is a plus)
  • In-depth knowledge of major social media platforms, app store management, and other relevant review media, and a strong understanding of their communities
  • Knowledgeable about healthcare compliance; able to learn quickly about specific regulations
  • A good grasp of social media trends, analytics, and reporting

Why new role: Ryte is launching its consumer apps in the US in May of 2024 and is looking for the right Community Manager to engage in and direct the online conversations that will begin as a result of this launch.

Directly report to:    Chief Marketing Officer

Company Size:           150+ team members across the globe, including Canada, France, Kazakhstan, and the Philippines; and now growing its US presence

Travel:                        Possible travel in the US, to Kazakhstan (Nur-Sultan), Philippines (Manilla), Canada (Toronto), and France (Paris). The focus for this role will be on the US market.

  • 3+ years in community management (with a preference for those with experience in health tech or related fields)
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and with resilience in a startup environment
  • Familiarity with mobile app product community management, including app store management and social media platform engagement
  • Experience in crafting content that aligns with customer values and brand voice
  • Bonus for experience in establishing and managing a company-owned community platform
