Job Title: Account Manager (Gear)
Location: Remote (US)
The Role: As an Account Manager on Splice’s Gear team, you will serve as the central point of contact for Splice’s external Gear partners on all matters related to product launches, updates, and ongoing partner relationship maintenance. You will collaborate closely with a small but highly cross-functional team from Business Development, Product, Engineering, and Product Marketing to launch exciting new Gear products on a regular basis. You will provide Splice’s external partners with the tools and information they need in order to deliver on these launches.
What You’ll Do:
- Serve as the first point of contact for external partners via regular email and Zoom calls in order to:
- Evaluate and plan future product launches.
- Conduct performance reviews of existing products.
- Provide updates on the status of new product integrations.
- Gather & provide updates on execution of Marketing deliverables.
- Provide product performance data and reporting.
- Discuss additional opportunities to broaden partnerships.
- Field other requests as they come up.
- Field and evaluate inbound requests from prospective partners.
- Utilize internal tools to both test and deploy installers in order to launch new Gear products, collaborating with Engineering when necessary.
- Test and ingest installers when new versions of existing products become available.
- Provide documentation and guidance to new partners during the integration process, via both email and Zoom calls, including forking SDKs.
- Build Gear product pages via GitHub, Control Room, and Slackbot.
- Coordinate with Product Marketing to ensure all partner Marketing deliverables are obtained and Marketing activities are planned prior to launches.
Job Requirements:
- Knowledge of the music production tools ecosystem, specifically plugins and DAWs, is a must.
- Demonstrated experience communicating with external partners in a timely, enthusiastic and sensitive manner.
- Previous experience working within or collaborating with Engineering teams.
- Previous experience conducting Quality Assurance testing on software products.
- Ability to converse on technical subjects such as SDK implementation.
- Comfortable using a terminal to run basic scripts.
The national pay range for this role is $78,750 - $101,250. Individual compensation will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience.
